  • The MSU Work Life Guide: Your work/life balance is important. And MSU provides a support system to ensure your success in your many roles as a parent, caregiver of elders, relationship partner, community member and MSU employee or student. This site, created by the folks at the Family Resource Center, has several sections devoted to career development.
  • Human Resources Development (HRD): HRD, a division of Human Resources, offers learning opportunities to help MSU employees meet their professional development goals. To learn more, click the link above, or call HRD at 517-355-0183.
  • M.E.N.T.O.R.S.: Centrally-Supported Mentors Program: The University has implemented a centrally-supported mentoring initiative, which can enhance current job performance and develop competencies essential for future career development, including: self-confidence, managerial and leadership skills, insights about themselves, problem-solving skills, and organizational understanding.
  • Libraries, Computing, & Technology Program (LCCTP): Offers a variety of non-credit computing courses and workshops. Courses cover a wide range of topics on computing for the purpose of job training, career development, and/or personal improvement. Click on the link above, or email them at lcttp@msu.edu.
  • Lifelong Education Program: The purpose of the Lifelong Education status is to permit and facilitate access to MSU courses (on-campus, off-campus, or workshop) for persons not wishing to pursue an undergraduate or graduate MSU degree.
