The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential counseling service provided at no cost to MSU faculty, staff, retirees, graduate student employees, and their families.

Some of the concerns we help with include:

  • Work related stress
  • Personal stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Shame
  • Alcohol and drug concerns
  • Relationship challenges
  • Family transition/conflict
  • Recovery from trauma
  • Grief and loss

Appointments

An appointment to meet with an EAP counselor may be arranged by calling 517-355-4506, Monday through Friday between 7:30am and 5:00pm. You can also send an e-mail to eap@hc.msu.edu. We would be happy to answer any questions about the program and our ability to assist you with your concerns.

The office is located in room 116 Linton Hall at 479 West Circle Drive. Parking is available in the Grand River Parking Ramp across the street from Linton.

EAP services are available to MSU faculty, staff, retirees, and graduate student employees, and their benefits eligible family members.
